I live surrounded by trees. Thanks goodness the pitch of my roof is slight. even though I’m a senior I’m on my roof twenty to thirty times a year with a leaf blower (it’s also great for cleaning out the gutters while I’m up there).
From pollen and tree flowers to helicoptering seed pods to tiny or full sized leaves . . I have to be VIGILANT. My 3 tab roof is eleven years old and, thanks to my diligence, still in good shape.
My question ?
Do architectural shingles prevent tiny leaves and seed pods and other TINY stuff from getting into the spaces between and under the shingles? My three tabs spaces almost seem to have a MAGNETIC effect of STUFF which one of the main reasons I leaf blow my roof so often.
